How did the neck injury of 2001 while playing for the New Orleans Saints
affect you on and off the field?

When you have an injury such as mine, where I was temporarily paralyzed, it puts life into clear perspective. I begin to really focus on my family and my health, and the things that are really important in life, even things more important than football.

A)
Great! Considering that I came into the league as an undrafted free agent from a small Division II school, I have had the opportunity to learn from the game's best. I credit a lot of my knowledge and skill to mentors like Deion Sanders and Kevin Smith. Even though my career has been awesome, I am still looking to achieve my
ultimate goal by playing in and winning a Superbowl, so that I can call myself a champ.
